Last weekend IFPAA hosted the Greater Pittsburgh Girls Softball League Playoffs for the 12U Tier I and 18U Open brackets.  It was a terrific weekend for IFPAA, both as hosts and competitors.  Our 12U IFPAA-2 Team finished Runner Up, dropping a thrilling Championship Game in extra innings.  Our 18U IFPAA-2 Team won the Championship with a big comeback in the top of the 7th.  Both our IFPAA Junior and Senior leagues worked together to host a first-class playoff for both leagues, earning many commendations from the participants as well as GPGSL officials.

2010 IFPAA Blueberry & Vestal Snack Shack Substitute Worker List

Please contact your league's commissioner to obtain a copy of the substitute worker list.

If you have a teen that would like to be placed on the substitute snack shack worker list wee below. Families unable to fill their scheduled time to work may call teen  workers  to substitute for them.  The scheduled parent worker should contact and pay the substitute directly.  Please make sure to tell teen substitute worker  field location, coaches’ name and teen name, so there is clarity that appropriate work shifts are covered.  The standard fee is $15.00 per game although some parents choose to pay more especially for opening and closing shifts.  Please inform worker of field location and team/manager they are working for. Teens should plan on working entire game or full two-hour shift until replacement worker arrives or coach locks snack shack.   Please utilize this list for all substitute worker arrangements to ensure appropriate snack shack procedures are followed. As per IFPAA policy home teams are to provide 2 workers for the Snack Shack.  Snack Shack workers must be at least 13 years old. Thank you.

If interested in being added to this list, please provide you First and Last Name and Telephone Number to Fran Mazur @ fran326@comcast.net  or  leave a message at 412-366-3233. Fran will call those on the list from last year for continued interest
