Mustang League - Message from Commissioner

Dear Parents:

We are getting organized for the 2008 Ingomar Franklin Park Athletic Association Mustang (10 year old) Baseball league. This e-mail is being sent to you because we show that your child participated in our Pinto (9year old) league last year. My name is Steve Rozick and I will be the commissioner for this league, for spring 2008. We are projecting that we will have 6 teams this year. This is consistent with the number of teams that we had last year. Also consistent with last year, the managers will be selecting tournament teams that will be playing in select area tournaments in the July and possible early August time frame. At this age our players are also introduced, for the first time, to the very exciting Williamsport Little League play. This is a team that is put together in addition to the tournament teams.

As per every year there is much work that has to be done prior the players beginning practice and it is all accomplished through your volunteer efforts. We currently have some indoor practice times set up for February and we are continuing to look at getting additional practice times and facilities. The priority at this time is getting the team managers assigned and to select tournament managers as well as the Williamsport managers. If you are interested in or know of anybody that would want to be considered for managing any of the teams or being involved in the selection of the managers of the above mentioned teams please respond via this e-mail. I will be putting together an ad hoc committee to advise me on the selection of the managers, so if you want to give your input, speak now or forever hold your piece.
